Yunomori Onsen: Mystified Portraits

BRIEF:

Yunomori, meaning “hot water in the forest (garden),” aimed to promote itself as the first authentic Japanese Onsen in Thailand. A path of retreat from daily hardships is paved through connection with various forms of water: hot and cold baths, sauna, steams, and showers.

SOLUTION:

With hot steams as a common sight for people bathing in Onsens, we used this motif to illustrate the unique warm and tranquil feeling of the place. This idea was implemented through the line covering the letterhead, envelope, flyer, brochure, print ads, website, and name cards.

RESULT:

Japanese expats and Thai locals love this place. Our hot steam-obscure image created a distinctive look that gave consumers the idea of the place at first glance.
